| ALTERNATIVE: The Elementary School was developed by a group
of parents looking for an alternative educational program to best meet the
needs of their children. ENRICHED: Small class sizes, individual
educational planning, creative and experimental methods of learning are the
focus to facilitate a thorough curriculum. CREATIVE: Specialties include
art, music, drama and dance, physical education (including winter sports),
computer, Spanish, and values & ethics. Biweekly field trips allow the
students to apply and expand their knowledge and understanding of the
world around them. NURTURING: The socio-emotional needs of the children
are a priority and easily fostered within a small caring setting. Parent
participation is mandatory and helps to build a family atmosphere. The
Elementary School is MSDE certified and currently has openings in grades
1-4. We are located on the beautiful grounds of St. Mark's in the heart of
Pikesville. We share the value of cultural and religious diversity. The
school admits students of any race, color, ethnic or national origin to
all the rights, privileges, programs and activities made available to the
school's students. |
