Harvest is a 501(c)(3) public charity formed in 1993 for the purpose of
alleviating hunger in the short term and preventing it in the long term.
To fulfill that mission, Garden Harvest uses its 100 acres in North
Baltimore County to grow organic fruits and vegetables, ALL of
which are donated to the emergency food agencies that feed needy citizens.
Each year Garden Harvest donates hundreds of thousands of pounds of
organic produce with the help of almost 5000 volunteers. |
