Since
1977 the Baltimore County PAL programs had provided a safe and
constructive alternative to idleness and boredom. PAL Centers
are staffed by Baltimore County police officers and recreation
coordinators who, along with community volunteers, enhance the
positive moral development of youth through enjoyable
activities.
Each PAL Center is designed to meet the needs of the
community it serves. PAL Centers offer an array of free
activities such as table tennis, billiards, video games and
more, to youth between the ages of 8 and 17.
The PAL program offers tutorial assistance, craft programs
and other activities designed to expand participant's
intellectual and imaginative abilities.
Membership
is open to all residents of Baltimore County from 8 to 17 years
of age.
A membership application is required and must be signed
by a parent or guardian.
An application may be obtained at your local PAL Center. Membership
is free!
