Backing up your data is the single most important part of maintenance you can do for yourself. Backing up your data is like getting gas in your car. How? If you don't get gas…what are the consequences? You have to call for help or walk to a gas station. That could involve walking on the Beltway, on the side of a busy street without sidewalks or generally making yourself vulnerable to a multitude of problems. If you back up your data it may take ten or 15 minutes every few days. And if you don't…you could spend a week reconstructing your data …if it can be reconstructed. Restoring documents is far easier than rewriting them!
